I was approached by the executive director of a global nonprofit organization called World Without Hate. The director commissioned me to develop an educational filmmaking program for teenagers in three international locations. The program aims to allow young people to tell their personal stories that promote themes of cross-cultural empathy and multicultural understanding. The ultimate goal is to combat hate and violence in our world. I was responsible for creating the program's format, writing the proposal, sourcing instructors worldwide, and securing bulk discounted equipment pricing from Apple's Business Relationship team. I also created a $300K budget for the program, which is available upon request.
The project was presented to American documentary film producer, philanthropist, and social activist Abigail Disney and American businessman, investor, and film producer Mark Cuban. It received funding in a scaled-down version.
